ABANDONED DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO IMPLEMENT A LOT OF THESE FEATURES IN DF.

OwO What's This?
This is a new total conversion mod for Dwarf Fortress, designed to be an Asian / wuxia themed setting, loosely using themes from traditional Japanese mythology and some tabletop fantasy settings (such as  Rokugan, which is exceptional).

Players will (eventually) take the role of leaders of a town from one of the clans who each have an elemental affiliation. They will found cities whilst fighting off bakemono raids, naga hostilities and foul akuma sieges.

So far, I have planned:
- Hito: "Japanese" people. Have several castes (warriors, "mages", craftsmen, farmers and the untouchables) who you need to set to certain jobs and manage properly within the fortress. Have a bunch of different Clans, which you pick one of to play as. Sunk their homeland so always start off on the coast.
- Naga: Human bodies and snake tails for legs, living in caves. Advanced and not evil but alien ethics.
- Bakemono: Forest/cave-dwelling goblin equivalents.
- Akuma: Dark tower creatures, demons of dark variety.
- Kodama: Spirits of the forest. Don't cut down too many trees or you'll displease them and then they will absolutely ruin your day.
- (Possibly) Lian: The native people of the land. Quite happy to trade but don't underestimate them. Much more in-balance with nature than the Hito are.

I'll be replacing animalmen too, to add in stuff like tanuki, vanara, kitsune etc. I'm most excited about curses, though. If Asian's good for anything, it's wild curses.

Finding sources to determine what armour should be took awhile, but I'm mostly finished on Hito clothing. I've got their entity file set up, I need to work on creatures and magic next.

Also, I think I found an anime character in my mod.
