The flag for active/inactive seems to get mixed up, so marksdwarves will only use archery targets when they're inactive.Bug:6070

But not actually true. When your marksdwarves are set up properly, they'll use their archery range when they want to do archery practice while active (as part of their other military training).

In addition, while not active, diligent marksdwarves will also hang out at the range, in the same way as off-duty military dwarves will do individual combat drill while not active.

My marksdwarfs only train when I have ALOT of bolts stockpiled. At least 1000 for one squad of 4 dwarfs. This has been the case for every game I have played for years. I have always suspected that something is wonky with the number of reserved bolts you set for each dwarf.
