Are there any resources available for modifying the advanced parameters of world generation?

I've been playing around trying to tweek things to get an aesthetic feel that I like for my maps but all too often I find that I've caused world gen parameters that are unobtainable and the game just spins rejecting all of the maps.

Ideally I've been hoping to get medium maps that are similar to the medium region but with a full coast on one or two adjacent edges.

Have you read that page yet? It has a lot of useful info on every single one of the advanced worldgen parameters.

I use PerfectWorld. You can build your own maps and see all the parameters in a much more intuitive interface.
