Friday of the Third Eon
Mossington has completed elemental magic by leasing out the use of water as well, bombarding his followers with "Water you waiting for?" advertisements. Needless to say, they are pleased to be granted access to power over all the elements, but Mossington goes further by hosting the last and largest Carnival in and around the Cavern Castle. Fine, delicious food is abundant there, and dazzling displays of talent, especially of the magical sort, are presented at the Coliseum. Anath, too, joins in the celebrations, and his rare appearance is cause for much wonderment. Even Medione, caught up by the Carnival spirit, has prepared blessed, delicious wine for the mortals and pancakes and jam for the gods. Those drinking the wine discover it to be a potent health tonic and regret only the massive surplus, which makes selling it at decent prices difficult. All of the gods eye the pancakes and jam hungrily. Could the health blessing from the godly breakfast improve the gods' Light or Might enough to weather the storm and possibly even preserve magic or mortals?
The period of prayer following the festival is somber, a complete reversal of the mood during the festivities.
The holes in reality persist outside the asteroid belt and seem to have slightly intensified.
