Would it add to the experience to us Fire Emblem portraits?

How about a battle grid(or other representation)?

This game is built on upgrade quantity, not quality. Portraits might be ok, but I don't like the idea of a grid.

Ah, so THAT'S why you were in the FEF hub askin'

A battle grid would be a bit much; it would change the way we play the game by having there appear to (/actually be?) movement limitations. A doodle map could work since the scale would be up to imagination more or less. If you/other people think portraits will add to this, then I'm fine with making myself one real quick, and Supernerd/anyone else who hops in could use the tool, since I'm sure that for this game the shading issues with the tool don't matter that much.

Yes but more accurately movement priority: the arena is still an arena, not a battlefield. If two actions happen at the same time, the one that needed to go fewer distance would be written first, and in a game like this a tiebreaker reference would be helpful for contradictory/competing actions.

Alright, if you don't want to be a baldy I can drop you each a "cosmetic" card next turn.

Ah, fair point. I know you intended it to be a quick game; but I'd say go for it if it helps ya with that stuff. And sure, drop me some cosmetics. Anything goes, really.

((Is it just me or did this just get wildly more complicated? I though it was just going to be a series of short lived battle arenas.))

That's always possible, but this game is still highly experimental(even if it is several years old...), but(as you can see above) this is not a random turn for the players.

((Better?))

Yep. I am encouraging using a FE portrait.

FYI you do not need to IC verbalize actions, only activating the card magic(and not if a blue card was involved).

I have decided to formally quit this game.

Edit: An explanation about why will be provided if requested.

If you wish to come back later, as you say that
Portraits might be ok

But I must also agree, when I asked for your permission to add the battlefield in our PM chat,
As the GM, you do not need my permission to do that. Its sort of your right as the GM.

(Just do it)
As the player it is your right to drop out. However I am not going to play these little games where there is drama when I  make a change that was already discussed.

You don't need to explain yourself if you want to quit. However the manner*, did it for you.

Spoiler: * (click to show/hide)

Thanks for playing.
