   Hey everybody, I sometimes write as a hobby and I have written a very short story, paragraph really, on a whim of inspiration.
If you have read my post "zubb's ingenious stories" (I doubt you have, it's utter crap.) then I promise this is better.

   Tell me if you like it.


"Prefight gesturing."

         The legions of lega and legettes were lined up in battle
formation, jeering at each other across the sands.
   From both armies came two smaller groups of lega, each one
with a prominent figure at their front.
   The entourages stopped a stone's throw from each other,
leaving the two they followed to continue until they were within
intimate speaking distance.
   One, all in black cloth, the other in a comfortable outfit,
the two leaders stared at each other as the sun beat down on the
sweating forces. Then the one in black drew back and slammed his
helmet into the casually dressed one's helmet. The casual one
staggered back a step, recovered, and returned the gesture with a
plasticky thump. The one in black pushed with both arms in a
schoolyard manner. This time the casual one didn't return the blow,
but gave the one in black the finger, to which the one in black
returned with double middle fingers. And to this the casual one gave
the final insult, crossed double middle fingers. The casually dressed
one then turned on her heel and started the long walk back to the
lines, her retinue in tow. The lega in black clenched his fists,
turned around and gestured his men back to the lines.

It seems a lot like a list. If you were interested in writing more around this, I'd recommend using this as the seed/concept.

   Well shoot you're right, reading it the next day it does read like a list.
It's still better than some of the crap I've written so at least it's an improvement.
Maybe next time.
I really just wrote it as sort of a passing thought, so I'm not sure what more to add.
