It should be pretty neat seeing the undead kill the undead. Arena mode in DF mode

The most important thing is to make sure a door is made and installed during spring. Then the undead can rage outside as they want (I haven't yet found any necro sieges containing troll, ogre, or other kind of building destroyer undead). Obviously, if they DO come you need to breach the caverns quickly if you've got grazers.
