I've found that Wikipedia's neutral tone can result in some funny articles.

The page on humans comes across like it was written by aliens.

I feel like this is a case of Wikipedia editors trying to subtly have fun without angering the admins.

You know, considering how many nukes we have laying around I'm not sure if "least concern" is the right term.

I've done some obscure wiki diving over the years. You wouldn't believe what kinds of inane nonsense you can find when you look around a bit

I do a lot of looking on Wikipedia for stuff and there are some useful catalogues of just templates.

For example: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:SVG_coat_of_arms_elements

Wikipedia SVG category stuff is really useful for maps and such as well.

I'm always amazed at the very lengthy edit wars that I find on the most obscure of pages. Here, for instance, is the page of a merchant family from the Republic of Ragusa. Not the most notable of pages, not the most notable of families, not one of those things that you'd see brought up all that often.

The talk page sits at a hefty 20,000 words, arguing over the spelling of the name of this family. And you can bet that it spilled over into other talk pages.

Some of the fights over flags are amusing as well. Also Wikipedia is full of fictional flags so don't trust it.

Personally, I enjoyed the edit war over List of Lists of Lists, focused on trying to apply Russel's paradox to the article by adding List of Lists of Lists as an entry of List of Lists of Lists.

In a town where only the wiki editor edits wiki articles on other editors, who edits the wiki article on the wiki editor?
