KMK - E

Spoiler: "2x" (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: "Screenshots" (click to show/hide)

An Elian Script Tileset, built from This super old post, A nice rendition of Elian in a small pixel format. Credit goes to the original creators, who are now non-existent accounts, for A-Z and 0-9 as well as their addition of separating the capital letters, most of the rest of the set is my effort to fit the rest of it into a similar look.

KMK - A

Spoiler: "Screenshots" (click to show/hide)

This was a silly tileset I put together about a year ago, but never uploaded, it is it the Amstrad PC1512 Font, always thought it would look neat, and I do enjoy it at times, even though it is heavily vertical. I'll probably do one or two other oldschool PC fonts that I kind of like the look of.

KMK - W

Spoiler: "Screenshots" (click to show/hide)

Continuing the line of interesting throwbacks you don't see too often, next we have the  ATI Small Wonder Font, it's a small as shit 6x8 for those who like their micro typesets.

KMK - I

Spoiler: "Screenshots" (click to show/hide)

Now for something standard, the IBM VGA8 Font, full of standards and practices.

The colorscheme shown is my Soyuz colorscheme I made for one of Taffer's more experimental variants of his tileset, check his stuff out if you haven't, it's easily one of the best ASCII sets for DF.

Spoiler: "Soyuz" (click to show/hide)

Bonsai Colors

These colors are based off of Cyprinodon's work that you can see HERE
I really liked his color scheme at the time and made a handful of tweaks years ago to try some things out while still keeping the original BG color.

PS: I am Vherid, but I do not, nor have I used that handle for years now. This is a fresh start for fresh boys.

Both this font and color scheme are top-notch. Excellent work!

I wonder if anyone would learn to play with this just because it's that cool?

It looks pretty Dwarven. I spent like 10 minutes reading this line from one of the screen shots: "Histories of Avarice and Resourcefulness".

I like the cut of your jib. Inscrutable and attractive, with well drawn tiles. Pretty unreadable, generally, but at least it's plausibly readable. I'm considering picking up Elian again just to play with this. I definitely recognize the font.

No word of a lie: this comment on that post is mine. I drew the line above for the capital letters and am one of the "non-existent creators" you mention, although I just modified the original. I tend to delete old Reddit accounts and posts. I lost interest in Elian script very quickly and lost the modified font almost immediately. The only real proof I can offer is this post, which at least demonstrates my decade long love of OpenBSD and has the same Zen symbol, XTerm, and tmux settings.

The colorscheme shown is my Soyuz colorscheme I made for one of Taffer's more experimental variants of his tileset, check his stuff out if you haven't, it's easily one of the best ASCII sets for DF.

Thank you kindly for the compliment! One of these days (soon?) I'll put out my big DF Revised update, and then my arabic tileset and, eventually, an update to my russian tileset will follow.

I almost missed this. I mean I'll believe it when I see a Vherid comment to back it up, but good to see you're still creating. We really do have a fair amount in common, apparently. I definitely understand the desire to change your online name: I kind of wish I could change mine to Spiral King like I did on GitLab. Is that a Tanya the Evil avatar?

Keep up the good work! I hope you consider a square version with spirals for dwarves "dwarf letter" style.

I definitely understand the desire to change your online name: I kind of wish I could change mine to Spiral King like I did on GitLab, after an anime character I somewhat resemble. Certainly a much better name for me than a reference to an old video game I haven't played in years. Is that a Tanya the Evil avatar?

That's pretty funny, I think I remember noticing that from a year ago, thanks for your input then. It's a fun thing to doodle around with on a notepad at work from time to time.

I'm not switching accounts to do that as I'm too lazy but lol, yeah it is, thanks though. I'm always messing around with colors but in terms of tiles I haven't really done much aside from this and the one i'm now posting which has been sitting around forever. The next two things will prob be vertical favored as well, I might make a square tileset again but I don't know, we'll see what happens.

Bonsai Colors

These colors are based off of Cyprinodon's work that you can see HERE
I really liked his color scheme at the time and made a handful of tweaks years ago to try some things out while still keeping the original BG color. Unfortunately he hasn't been around for a few years but I found this again the other day and figured I'd pass it along. As such this one is not entirely my scheme, however there's probably a few other color schemes I've put together over the years that never made it into the Vherid thread, I'll have to try to find some of those.

Spoiler: Screens (click to show/hide)

I am using the Curses Vector tileset in these screens.

I also have some ideas for fresh new color schemes that I haven't really touched before, expect those within a few days.

Letting some people get hands on this one as a beta as a sort. I'm not sure if I'm too happy with it yet but it's basically the Elian set without the elian.

Brand new half life? influenced scheme. I can't think of another reason why I would name this Gordon but I don't really remember where I grabbed things from or what it was based on. This was sitting around slightly unfinished, managed to fix the few issues today, so here you go.

I've come across this tileset a few times on here but always turned away because of Elian script, assuming it was hard. I've looked into it and have begun learning. It's fairly simple and the tileset for it is fantastic and clear. I'll be playing a few games over the next few days to practice learning Elian but I just want to ask if a windows font version of this tileset is possible or lying around anywhere? I would love to throw it in a terminal or even use it to program from time to time to help learn. Thanks for the Elian tileset by the way, the community for it is great from the little bit I've been exposed to it and I'm looking forward to learning and hopefully becoming semi-fluent soon.

This is where it came from

I think the downloads are pretty much gonezo at this point so no idea unfortunately.

I love it, I use it already as my font

Thanks again Koumakan for these tilesets. It's like looking at the world map in the back of a new fantasy novel! I particularly enjoy the Bonsai colors.
