I've started a human fort recently with the intentions of sustaining my fort only on the fruits of pillaging and raids using the new systems. I've recently decided to demand tribute from two different goblin pits. When my men return from the site, I'm greeted with a lengthy list of combat encounters, but no note on tributes. On one of the runs, my people returned and the report showed nothing. No combat or other news.  Did the request fail or is it working? Or, did it glitch out somehow? Thanks.

Capital T next to the civ you're getting tribute from on the civ list. (c) from the map screen.

But you can't get tribute from folk you're at war with, so that doesn't work. It's a "give us your socks every month or we'll go to war with you" kind of tribute demand.
