Do the parsians practice animal sacrifice?. I think I remember something about that they use it for their divinations but I am not sure.

So why have the forgotten beasts stopped appearing?.

We have had a whole 15 years during the regency without one so what’s going on?.

It's part of the general decline of magic, in particular I'd guess fewer 'wild' areas left for beasts to come from.*
Beast attacks have never been all that frequent in Methiant as in past kingdoms.
We have plagues and drunk relatives causing international incidents and worst of all: inflation.

*please do not give Haspen the idea for a mole-based beast bursting into a major city

true but if it’s because magic is fading it appears to do so exponentially faster than before.
if this continues at this speed our artifacts will be gone within a decade.

I thought Parsia and Sim Empire both practice forms of Eleven Graces worship? Ajarat Padarahka is talking and acting as if the Parsians are heathens, did Sim's takeover also change something about their religious life or have they always been at odds without my realizing it?

So you know how in old Gupta the princes of the emperor would fight among themselves to try and seize the throne after the father died what kept them from doing the same as sim and change the succession laws and reform the administration?.

[essentially what I am asking here is why didn’t we not see a earlier reformed Gupta?.]

There is members of the hurthlings in our army? Even in negligible amounts?

I know that they aren't inclined in leaving their houses, but I believe that there might always have some adventurous spirit somewhere, or a descendant of a hurthling family that got killed by parsia. Plus, we have that mandatory service on the army, I don't know if the laws were made exclusively for humans and hurthlings got immune to that, or they got rejected by the army because of the training drill

Those are very interesting questions but NAQ

If I were to decide, I would say only handful of brave ones are in.
