One pick freezing terrying tundra challenge!

Hello everyone, I'm reviving the good old one pick challenge!

The rules are simple

-Embark on a Terryfing Freezing Tundra with an Aquifer
-Only one copper pick
-Only one skill (novice appraiser)
-No food, no booze, no animals
-SURVIVE

As a feedback, I have two things.
  • Put the images in spoilers please, it will make your updates so much more readable. Like this:

  • This may be more of a Community games and stories section material. I don't know about moving threads between sections, so it is okay here I guess, just keep it in mind for future threads. I can imagine some people interested in this kind of thing check that section only.

As mentioned, it doesn't look like a challenge, but rather like a story thread for someone who wants to tell the story of taking up a challenge, in which case it definitely belongs in the story sub forum. Unfortunately, I don't know how to move threads, so I can't tell you.

At the bottom-left of the thread, the op should be able to see two buttons for 'move thread' and 'lock thread'.
