Ah yes, the insatiable lust of corn and rice, clearly two of the most erotic foods.

New Vegas is my new vice. Put nearly 100hrs in the past 2 weeks alone, and it's still climbing. Cowboys and Super Mutants is always fun. Going to get back into DF when I have a turn on Drunk Fortress lined up, along with my poison of choice.

Also my left shift key is simultaneously activating my "\" key, so I'm having to buck years of muscle memory or backspace every time I put a capital or symbol. Fun times.

Oh. I'm busy playing Hollow Knight, which is a very very very good *game*.
Watcher Knights is currently beating the shit out of me. (BTW we have a nickname in China for the Watcher Knights which roughly translates into "awkward dancing knights group". I swear it sounds much better in Chinese.)

Beat Blasphemous a couple days ago to get the shitty ending. Need to go back and do a few things then make another run at the boss for the good ending. Not gonna lie, even though it only took me like 7 attempts to beat the last boss, I raged. He's constantly flinging shit at you so you can't stop moving ever, and after a while it's like trying to deal damage while also keep 7 plates spinning atop sticks. That and there are some hitbox issues.

Other than that I'm getting back in to Monster Hunter World and getting my ass kicked as I have to relearn how to play in the mid to late game.

i decided to test Corruption of Champions II, really liking the layout and UI albeit the map system feels off, perhaps im too used to the cell-style movement from TiTS (and being able to move around with the arrow keys instead of clicking west, east and so on).

also EVE Online, getting close to finish Engineering skills and moving onto weaponry (finally!), im also trying to do a recruitment program for a corp i founded, but it will probably take some time before i get recruits.

yeah its a sequel, according to what i've read it happens in a different world but the story is connected to the first game. im really digging the mechanics, albeit it seems there's still a lot of development ahead. its a shame since a game like this could probably soar in Steam or other platforms given proper funding.

I... I know the filter on steam content is real loose, but would a CoC sequel even be allowed on the platform (especially without being heavily censored)?

Nah, steam lets porn on their platform now.

not just steam, apparently nintendo was going to allow porn on their platform as well, unless that was just a meme. i didn't dig.

edit: nvm, not porn, just uncensored content. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/06/nintendo_has_no_plans_to_censor_video_games_like_sony

Came into this thread to say I've been mucking around with Cooking Simulator.

Now I'm just sad that people aren't discussing a sequel to any of the Call of Cthulhu games.

I've gone back to playing Banjo-Tooie after a prolonged period of not having enough time due to disasters at work, and after deciding that X-COM classic was not good for my health.

My opinion of this game continues to oscillate like a roller coaster.  I want to like it because of how much I loved the original, but I just feel so lost in it all of the time and it has a definite Donkey Kong 64 vibe of things being annoying for no good reason.  For example, when Humba Wumba turns you into a washing machine in Grunty Industries, you can't use the teleport pads.  Why?  Because you can't.  They added a service elevator thing you have to use instead, meaning you have to take long routes everywhere just because.  I've already complained before about the transformations being inconvenient in general before.

But on the other hand, it is genuinely satisfying to finally figure out how to get some of the jiggies, and I certainly feel like I accomplished something when I finally 100% a level.

LIVE-A-LIVE

This game offers you 7 lifetimes and so far I suck at all of those I've tried.

That's, uh. Pretty impressive, in a way. Iirc several of the scenarios aren't terribly rough. Want to say the mammoth/cave people, ninja, or super robot ones are easier starts? Gods it's been a long time since I played that.
