Get my gear together, double check everything. Ask the guard what its been like on the outside recently and if there is anything we should be worried about in particular. After that, I am Ready to go.

I don't believe I know any of the team, so study them and try to get a sense of how trustworthy or reliable they are as we go, if I can spare any attention from pushing the wheelbarrow.
Still a nicer subject to ponder than the other things on my mind.
