Clearly then, now is the time for Mrs. Byrd to take the field with a vengeance! Mr. Byrd will be avenged!

Well, the army wouldn't have me. Neither would the police. I almost died from exhaustion as a facility manager 3rd class. But you people seemed chill. No experience needed it said. It even said "No qualifications needed. At all!" in the ad.
So here I am.
Now where did I put those glasses? Funny thing, I can't see anything more than 2 feet away without them. Oh, and I don't have a drivers license either, never passed the test.

Aren’t PUBLIC/CARs twice the speed of VANs? I always used them extensively when I was xcom-filing it up for low-risk high-volume missions like suspect apprehensions and alien abductions

I like the humour, Mr SQman! Nice to see this revived.

I'm mainly posting to watch, but might just as well send a recruit your way: Mr/s Sufficient

Took a small break, but I'm back! There was a substantial update, but we're not likely to see any new stuff anytime soon.

I never actually used private cars, which is probably why I missed most cover missions. I usually beeline for the humvee and helicopter.
Also, we won't be having suspect apprehension for much longer. Once EXALT decides to show up, we'll be doing only bigger cult missions.

Mr Wind ist dead? Tragic!
XCOM needs something to get rid of the stale smell of death, let Mr. Storm be the one to do that.

Hm, what if the unexplained death was Mr. Icon?
And, what if Mr. Jack was nearby?
Didn't Mr. Icon just eclipse Mr. Jack for the Squad leader role?

...Suspicious.  8)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Mr. Icon who died, and Mr. Jack isn't entirely free from blame.

Polite request for shurikens, tonfas, and/or a Katana for Mr. Byrd Jr. Jr. Because if you are doomed to die, you may as well die with style. :p

I have to say, melee is amazing in this mod. I'm early in the game, and detected an alien landing site near my base. I send out a pair of agents in their crappy rent-a-car, not realizing that they didn't have even a full setup of crappy starter equipment. One ended up sporting a pistol and a knife, and the other had a taser and a knife.

Long story short, they kept on sneaking up behind sectoids and shanking them. Even if I had to end the turn with the sectoid up, the weak little bastards kept losing the melee struggle, so their shots went everywhere except into an agents. It's the 13th of January, 1997, and we have alien corpses and a full ufo to prove that the truth is out there, and its hostile.
