Reagent: A Bucket of Water...
Shazbot:
How do I make a reaction require a bucket of water? I've read Ye Olde Threades and get the impression this is impossible. Barrels or jugs of water are also acceptable.
Bonus: How do I dump that water onto the floor? Ideally 1/7 of muddy water?
Hugo_The_Dwarf:
--- Code: ---[REAGENT:water:150:LIQUID_MISC:NONE:WATER:NONE]
[REAGENT:water container:1:NONE:NONE:NONE:NONE]
[CONTAINS:water]
[PRESERVE_REAGENT]
[DOES_NOT_DETERMINE_PRODUCT_AMOUNT]
--- End code ---
Should get any bucket, barrel, jug, etc. that is holding water
Idk last I heard is you just fill enough LIQUID_MISC:NONE:WATER:NONE into a minecart, then have that minecarft put on a rail, then have said minecart "dump" that water
Meph:
Making a reaction need a bucket of water is easy, so Hugos answer above. The problem arises from dwarves being stupid and not filling the bucket with water, even if you have a pond, river or well available.
Shazbot:
So I need a water sluice, minecarts feeding under a waterfall in that sluice, and they'll pick up and empty the carts at my mining jig. Then the cart goes back to the queue for the waterfall.
Better than I could have expected, really.
Shazbot:
It is actually very easy to get a bucket of water if you designate a single tile of pit/pond area on flat ground with no edges to dump off of. Dwarves dutifully fill bucket after bucket with water and drop it in a neat little pile.
See, I contributed to society.
