IRL? depends on what they're hitting. generally they actually do a mixture of piercing on initial impact, blunt if they get stopped intact, and slashing if they fragment into pieces inside a soft target.

My power goes beyond just guns and it will entirely spend upon the weapon I make. I could make a laser gun after all.
