I have a dwarven reactor in my Mountainhome on my main save, granted the population being over 300 (~200 dwarves and the rest are visitors) may have a hand in it but the reactor is huge, I think the flowing water does a number on framerate. The infinite energy source is worth it, though. The entire fort is automated to a point it would made the Dwemer jealous xD

Oh I forgot to mention the save has been passed onto the next player. I'm not sure when I'll hear back as it's someone from the DF Facebook group but I'll keep you posted.

Usnsptrasp, the dwarven fortress was founded in (insert year here). In (insert year here) the fortress was attack by a hydro power plant. The power plant killed the cpu with fps bomb.

Just got a message from the current player on the FB Group. We had some more IRL stuff pop up but he's working on the fort as we speak.

Might I suggest that, since we have limited numbers of dwarves, we should train everyone in combat and swimming, to decrease casualties.
Also, do we have a tavern, so we can get mercenaries?

From what I've read we're still...somehow...getting more migrants, so it could be possible. I don't think we've had a tavern built yet to stay hidden from the Goblins, but I assume there are some that could appear.

I may phase out the FB players for convenience's sake, or make a Discord channel or something where we can all convene with this stuff, logistics is getting awkward and I'm already juggling the Dwarf Town save with this xD

I have a name for the hydro power plant. Independent Reactor System, or IRS for short. (Because running it on the computer is very -taxing-)
