Center Indicator in Adventure Mode Up/Down Views
« on: May 11, 2018, 05:30:39 pm »

Adventure mode has little windows showing the contents of the z-levels above and below the player. However, it might not convenient to tell from a glance which tile is in the center (i.e., directly above/below the player or cursor.) I would expect this issue to be especially pronounced with a non-square tileset.

There could be a blinking cursor in them for look mode. I'm not sure what to do for when you're just walking around, without being too annoying. Maybe just have it appear when you're moving carefully, climbing, or when there's a creature within striking distance?

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.
