Then, grab all the battery powered lights you can find and lock yourself into a closet. Who knows, it's a shadow person. Maybe it can teleport into darkened corners or something.

Barricade the door, better safe than sorry

It's nearly pitch black, but your familiarity with the space helps you find a nearby chair and wedge it against the doorhandle. There's a bang! on your door, and you run to start pushing the couch. It's heavy, but with a surge of adrenaline you manage to push it in front of your door as well. Okay, lights... wait, do you even have any battery lights aside from your phone? Fuck... maybe in the bedroom. You go to check, and see an orange-lined dark shape standing outside the window.

NOPEITY NOPE. Not dealing with that, head into a lockable area with no windows.

Nooope. You bolt for the bathroom and slam the door behind you, desperately fumbling for the lock. Click. Not windowless, exactly, but it's one of those high-up tiny privacy windows above the shower. Okay... okay... um... there's a strange, creaking, ringing noise from somewhre outside the door. Uhhh.... nothing to wedge against the door... you heft the toilet paper stand in both hands.

THUMP!

Assuming that thump was wedging something under the door, rest against it to add your body weight to the equation. Be watchful of the window.

+1. Please tell us the toilet paper stand is a nice metal one.

You'd like to think you just forcefully wedged something against the door, but as you'd just assessed, there isn't any moveable furniture here in the bathroom aside from the metal thing you're currently wielding. Shit. You lean your weight against the door. Shoulders first, arms held back, ready to swing...

THUD

Something smacks into the door from the other side. The lock and your efforts resist. crackle crackle

WHAM

Oof! You felt the bounce from that one. No creaking or splintering, though. At least, not yet.

This may have been a poor idea. Keep holding.

Call our werewolf friend and explain what's happening. Anyone else who might be able to help too, I guess.

Now would be a good time to call for help, you think. Switching to a single-handed heft on the toilet paper stand, you unpocket your phone. Zero bars. Fuck. That's right, the power's still out.

WHAM

Maybe you could dump water on it. Or, wait, it was out in the rain-

BAM

O-or maybe you could bust open the bathroom window and climb up the shower bar-

WHUMP! crack

OR! MAYBE! You could... could fling open the door between hits, and... a-and surprise attack!

SLAM!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Assess whether the phone will fit under the door. If so, try writing something to the effect of "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" and putting it under the door. Maybe it'll parley.

+1, but only if it does not respond to verbal and written--on paper--communication. If it busts our phone, we lose our job.
