I'm going to take a look around our base

You entered the dropship at the last moment.

The map layout is two bases on opposite ends, with three roads, one to the south, one to the north, and one in the middle. The south path goes through an arid shrubland, the middle one has plenty of forestation, and the north one has boreal forests.

Okay then, seems like a MOBA arena.
I'm going to take a look around the inside of our base, see if there is anything special in there

Find a good sniping spot. It should have only one entrance, which should be hard to enter unnoticed. It should also offer a view of all 3 paths.

V-Alpha does a rapid inventory of available supplies, then grabs a combat knife, binoculars and explosives if there are any.

Then to Jimmy Carter:

If you just joined and didn't specify an action, you'll be in your base. and/or if you don't specify an action, you'll be on lookout.

I'm going to take a look around the inside of our base, see if there is anything special in there

1: There's nothing too noteworthy in the base, just a garage, barracks, armory, infirmary, helipad, and breakroom.

Crawl around our base and learn the vents, shadowed corners, and other possible hiding and ambush points.

3: You didn't find any notable ambush points.

Explore the base, looking for anything useful

5: You search for some equipment. You find 10 nanoceramic composite ballistic vests that have combat knives, two high explosive grenades, two smoke grenades, and two flashbangs attached onto the tactical rigging on each of them. You decide to take one. Both are standard issue for both factions.

Find a good sniping spot. It should have only one entrance, which should be hard to enter unnoticed. It should also offer a view of all 3 paths.

6: You find a good sniping spot on the roof, with some trees masking the location, while leaving ample room to see.

V-Alpha does a rapid inventory of available supplies, then grabs a combat knife, binoculars and explosives if there are any.

3: You find a nanocomposite ballistic vest that has plenty of assorted grenades and a knife. You couldn't find binoculars, unfortunately.

Make a nice nest for my eggs.

6: You find a room that was empty. You promptly put your probably not chicken eggs inside said room, which you've modified to be at optimal egg incubation conditions. The eggs are expected to hatch at the end of the next turn.

Keep watch from the roof.

3: You head to the roof to keep watch, but you probably should've grabbed a longer ranged weapon since the combat area is huuuuge.

Gather a team to attack Orange base via North path. (With vehicle if available)

1: You realize that it would be a good idea to get some proper equipment for not dying out there first.

go outside to dig trenches.

4: You go outside and dig trenches, with cover from Thaddeus in case things go south.

"Sure, get in."
Wait for V-Alpha to get in then drive down the south path through the shrubland.

1: You forgot to fuel the car. Whoops.

Spoiler: Orongus Legion (click to show/hide)

Well, that took me two and a half hours to update. Time was flying while doing this.
