Unreal Adventures [SG]

You are in a castle, locked between the muddy stone blocks that form its stern walls. This room contains plenty of furnishing, lanterns, tools, arches, doors, and who knows what else, but you can't outline the details yet. It's quite dark in this place.
A very tall man stands by you. He makes a weird gesture, and a dog, which you hadn't previously seen, scrambles away from your vision. You feel like you should give chase.

resist the compulsion to chase the dog. Ponder our name and where we got it from. Why couldn't we be named Steve?

You attempt to open your mouth, but you simply can't. A vaguely familiar feeling, but not familiar enough.
Your surroundings are becoming blurry. Stability decreased.

You start running towards where the dog went, despite your current partial blindness. You pass through a wide doorway and traverse an hall brimming with what seem to be ebony tables and chairs. A corridor leads you to a small room stained by a faint, grey light. You see the dog hide in a closet. You hurry to it, and a ghost springs out of it, blocking your passage!

Time to run.
