You are the leader of a clan. Your father died due to illness and left you with a clan in stagnation. Your close advisers tell that there is a land of plenty in the west. The neighboring clans are fighting and your clan is seen as weak. Your advisers inform you that as soon as your neighbors are done fighting one of them will fight you.

Army structure: leader -> squad -> company -> battalion
  armies will show different things at different levels, current structure is 5's so you see battalions eg 1 -> 5 -> 50 -> 500
 Your overlord's is 10's eg 1 -> 10 -> 100 -> 1000

You order the creation of another army. The armies are order to train for war. Your commanders enjoy this order. The war next door is starting to wind down.

Do we have any defensive walls, do we have any houses, and do we have any crops?
If we can only use 15% of the population for the army what are the others doing?

So here is a little history listen for you on the Mongol clans.

They lived in big tents called gers. They were a nomadic people, which means that they move a lot. Food was usually from domesticated animals such as cattle, horses, camels, yaks, sheep, and goats, as well as game. Defenses were usually what ever defensive terrain they camped in, or simple wooden palisades that could be taken down and moved with them. For offensive only a portion of the men went out, usually 2 armies would meet away from camp and fight. For defensive a bigger number of men, and sometimes women, defended the camp. For the most part the majority of the pop would be the herders, felt crafters, cheese makes, shearers, milkers, etc.

With that you can change anything you wish, will put this in the op.
