THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED WITH CHANGES

The World
• The world has one continent and several smaller land masses. The continent has 26 cities- one named for each letter of the English alphabet.
• The world has four moons.
• The technology available to the general public is similar to Earth. (If no player is actively trying to effect this, exposure to higher tech will be forgotten, go out of fashion, or otherwise deteriorate, until back at equalibrium with Earth tech)

Notable Laws
Law
Summary
Heroics Act
: Being a "vigilante" is not distinguished from a "citizen's arrest", and is thus legal. However they are solely responsible for the perpetrator's medical expenses linked to their capture, and perminant injuries or dismemberment can result in jail time.
Salvation Act
: There is no death penalty, and killing for any reason is illegal. There are exceptions, which cities may individually choose to determine:
• Abortions and suicide and doctor assistance with them are not protected.
• Artificial Intelligence(unless a citizen) that publicly acts with violent behavior is not protected, except as property.
• A non-human sentient being(unless a citizen) that publicly act with violent behavior is not protected.
• A 'life sentence' is 100 years. Multiple life sentences are additions of this many. A sentence can be reduced if the mayor of a city where a specific crime was committed, or the President sign.
Registration Act
: Citizens who are Mutants, Enhanced, or Non Human must notify the government.
• Only Mayors (local) and the President (world) have access to this list.
• The findings of a deceased person's autopsy report is to be public knowledge. ('secret spoilers' for a deceased player no longer secret.)

BREAKING NEWS: METEOR IN 8 WEEKS!

"A giant meteor is heading towards the planet as we speak, scientiest say we have 8 weeks. Citizens living in or near Z-City are being asked to evacuate the area in a timely manner. Government assistance and relocation services will be given to all residents."

"The President and Mayor of Z-City urge citizens to remain calm. The President also thanks the scientists who discovered this so early. As just a few years ago we may have only had as little as thirty minutes to prepare."

Spoiler: Weekly Crime Report (click to show/hide)

(Edit: I accidentally posted this early/incomplete. Unspoiled parts will be saved for the next post. The player thread will be made available at that time...)
