I didn't think Twilight was completely terrible until the third book or so. Then she went completely off the rails. She also had another book called host, which I remember having an interesting concept about mind worms; though eventually it all felt like Twilight again.

If I recall correctly, she's been writing some other series. I've considered checking them out.
