Decades after the other continent of this world was destroyed, White and Gold has fallen, and Blue and Red has risen. The world has been reshaped countless times by the magic that has come and gone, and things are getting a bit... Odd, once more.
You're a dwarf, and you have just arrived at the newly founded fortress Pillar Of Gold, a small fortress created by the mountain home due to the prospect of rich mineral concentrations in the area, and the potential of harvesting some of the newly discovered magical minerals, like the recently discovered Ember, a mineral which turns magic into the heat needed to melt iron. Magic itself has changed in the time passed, with new rules and concepts being buried within many a book.
The story of the other continent's prime fortress, the one that caused this disaster, is lost to time, but a few may still know it's name, and curse it's very existence... Mostly because they're still waiting in line for judgement, that is.

IB12WAF is the definition of a overly complicated forum game. In the past, it's had a horrible time actually staying updated, and month long inactivity periods were not uncommon. That probably won't change (sorry), but i certainly hope to make the game more interesting and less intimidating at the same time. Time will pass in varying increments, with the amount of time passing during any one update being stated at the top of said update. Anyways, new players are welcome (read: pls we're dying over here), and returning players can enjoy their wacky shenanigans in a medieval world once more.
