At this point, Gaal'garot believed that they most likely detected his presence... But the possibility remained that there was a different reason they would start coming this way. Gaal'garot wanted to remain as unknown as possible for the time being, the sooner he started to wreak havoc, the sooner the world would start trying to learn how to deal with him.

Gaal'garot quickly checks the ground for some good-sized stones to throw, and also checks for sources of light. As he was in a cave, he would be able to gain an advantage by darkening the area. He would use a combination of his Supernatural Dexterity and Unholy Might to throw a stone at any sources of light in the immediate vicinity with enough force to compromise the integrity of the rock on impact. He would then move to the end of the corridor opposite to where the strangers would come from so that he would be able to take a good look at the four people and decide how to follow up based on how well they were able to move in the darkness. He would also save one stone for the sole purpose of striking a lantern, torch, or other mobile source of light that they might have at a long distance.

Smash***ssh**.

Lights have been destroyed.

They've slow down at the start of the darkness.

?-*",
#•~`, Light.

You understood that last word somehow. The area lights up!

-&'!

You can see two people dressed with hoods(closed pointed helms of some sort), they appear to have armor.

In addition, the you can see the two children.

%$"-! @*€\;-+'; &+;.?

One appears to be 14 or so,  with blue-black hair and dark brown eyes. He is a bit androgynous, and appears richly dressed.

The girl is a bit taller, with red hair and purple eyes. Her clothes are red, and flames appear to dance upon her body. She appears to have a crystal upon her chest. She also wears a single earring.

She stands slightly behind the boy, but appears ready to move. The boy has some sort of knuckles.

Gaal'garot was rather curious at this point. These people appeared to have some unusual abilities. Probably nothing to be too worried about, but very old vampires don't get to be very old by being careless.

He stood up straight and stared them down, not saying a word and attempting to guage their mood from their expression with his glowing red eyes. He uses the claws on his right hand to pierce his own skin to draw a little bit of blood, then rolls the stone around in his palm to coat it with his cursed power. It would make for a deadly projectile if thrown. He will refrain from actually throwing it unless one of them decides to make an attack. Should they do that, Gaal'garot would retaliate by throwing the stone at the attacker. Hard.

His focus was primarily on the girl. He would prepare to dodge an attack from her even if it meant taking a hit from one of the other three. If they were to have any chance to harm him, it was probably going to be from that fire magic or magic-equivalent.

The talk amongst themselves a bit more. You stand.

Suspicion and wariness is their mood. Is it just you, or is it getting hotter..

Gaal'garot figured that the environment should probably be his biggest concern. He slowly walks towards the group while getting a feel for the source of the heat. Is it coming from a higher or lower elevation? To the left or the right?

What he needed was a map of the area, and the place that he intended to find it was within these people's blood. He expected that a decrease in distance between them would increase their wariness further, but they were unlikely to be prepared for the unmatched abilities of a demigod. After some walking he would then use his supernatural dexterity to charge past them. As he did, he would made a gesture with his left hand that resembled a scoop with four fingers together bending forward and the thumb remaining straight ahead. His plan was to draw blood from one of them with a glancing blow from his claws as he sped past, then he would keep moving too quickly for them to pursue. He would then use his Blood Devilry power to get a feel for where he is, how to speak the language... And figure out what, if anything, these people already know about him.

(I think my previous action has not been fully processed, or at the very least I didn't get an explanation about why it wasn't.)

Action confirmed then.

Gaal'garot will use his Supernatural Dexterity once they move close/-

Falcon Rush!
The boys knuckles weapon ignite, as a blue line connects the two. He moves in slightly to your left while the girl shifts slightly to his left.

Dodge or something else?

The reason it wasn't instantly processed was because of your reaction time. That and your opponents.

Gaal'garot decided to shift his tactics. These people were a greater threat than he had initially assessed them as; and as such may be better to deal with now instead of later. He noted that the boy decided to attack with a very short ranged weapon, and a knuckle type weapon would not add much range to it. Being approximately twice as tall, Gaal'garot would be able to counterattack with his greater armlength.

With both Unholy Strength and Supernatural Dexterity, he decided on a counterattack in the form of a staggeringly hard punch to the boy's face using his left hand. It was probably overkill, but you don't get to be a very old vampire by being careless.

After the impact, he would jump backwards to prevent the girl from getting behind him. As he had walked forwards earlier, he knew there would be room to do so.

Action received, processing.

Gaal'garot strikes at the boy's face, or tries to.

Cancel-
~~`

A shimmering gold barrier blocks your blow, knocking you just a bit off balance for a split-second.
Light Impact-
A blistering fast blow darts at you.

fwmm
A sphere of orange fire erupts from the contact.
You're knocked back several feet, spinning to land on all fours.

You're bleeding from the contact, and it doesn't seem to be healing. The air seems to be even hotter than before.

The two come together, and the two men open fire.
Literal fire seems to streak toward you. It's either forward or back.

You are lightly injured, though your clothes are mostly fine other than the hole in them where you were hit. That bit is bleeding, burned, and seems to go a bit deeper. No internal damage.

Just his luck to encounter the most powerful group of mortals in the world before he could get his bearings. They also appeared to have somehow been alerted to his existence before he arrived; though Gaal'garot was far from defeated, and now he knew what to look out for - his enemies were telegraphing their attacks with vocalization. This information could be used in more ways than one.

Gaal'garot stands up, and speaks the name of one of the attacks while assuming the same posture that the kids previously took. "Light Impact". Of course, Gaal'garot had no such attack in his arsenal, but "Light Impact" was something that his opponents would be able to understand and counter; which would be the exactly the wrong thing to do!

Gaal'garot would then charge towards the boy with a feint, and await the "audio cue" of an enemy spell. From the first syllable, he would switch to evasive actions using his Supernatural Dexterity, and then his true intentions would be revealed. His target is the two gunmen at the back! Though they seemed to be wearing armor, the vampire demigod's Unholy Might which was able to disassemble even armored tanks would be able to tear it apart with ease. He would then use his Nightmarish Fangs to finally extract some blood!

You dodge the gunfire by moving foward.

Light Impact

The two stand with their backs to each other. A blueish light seems to rise from them, slightly transparent.

Continue action?

Mood of foes, Firm.

He continues to move foward, toward them. No vocals are forthcoming. The air is feeling even hotter.

You're about to reach them when-
~~`
That damned golden barrier springs up again, covering the entire tunnel. You slam into it and move back immediately-

You can see the kids still standing still behind it's hexagonal planes. The Gunfire stopped.

Note that these actions are slowed down to your perception. Old Vampire did not get that old by being slow on the uptakes.

Or Perception cutting in to combat.

Gaal'garot begins to understand what he was doing wrong: There were at least five people he was fighting, not just four. He knew the barrier's audio cue was "Cancel".

This time he wasn't going to be in the line of fire the instant the barrier went down. He turned and sprinted away from the barrier to turn a corner; so that any incoming flames wouldn't be able to connect with him. Then he would see if he could sniff out the location of someone else using his Enhanced Senses.

Failing that; he would see if the tunnels interconnected in such a way that he could get to the other side of the barrier through another passageway with his Supernatural Dexterity.
