You tumble across the desert sands before stopping. You can see the creature on the cliff. Also..

shifting sand

That being from earlier is arising.

Gaal'garot decides to shift his target now that he got some... Distance... From the flying one.

He would move from his landing spot using his Stealth ability to avoid making sound that would make him easy to track, then prepared to strike at the location where he landed.

The Scorpion arises, with large claws and a long tail/deadly stinger.
Deadly Needle

It's claw open diagonal, it fires a stream of needles at your previous location. You are currently at it's diagonal flank. The flying creature takes flight, it's body a 'Y` as it flies. Its neck long, sticking out of the arrangement.

Gaal'garot takes his opportunity to grab the Scorpion by the tail with both hands before it can retreat under the sand. He would then use his Unholy Might to slam the scorpion against the exterior rocky wall of the cave before attempting to drink its blood.

He would ignore the Y bird for the time being.

Note, you are quite always away from said wall. Otherwise, that bird wouldn't be lit up in silhouette.

You grab the Scorpions tail before slamming it head first into the sand.

Leech Life

It stings you, and your hand spasms as it moves up.

If the Scorpion was trying to steal life force from an undead, Gaal'garot had no reason to worry about that stinger. If anything, the battle would be won as soon as it tried thanks to the Curse of the Vampire.

Gaal'garot would go for the bite right now.

You tear into its flesh with unholy might.

Hammer Claw

It manages to knock you off, but it's insides are open now. Just one more rus-

Flare Burst

Fire shoots at the Scorpions Location as it jumps back.

Wait. What was that? It couldn't be... And it probably wasn't judging by the fact that it wasn't aimed directly at him. Still, Gaal'garot decided to start using even a modicum of caution now. Staring dead ahead for a second to prepare to look at something without showing any expression.

If this was the kids from before, he would... Pretend to be a completely different vampiric monstrosity by taking a short glance at them, showing no emotion, then looking back to the scorpion.

More likely though, is the possibility that this was an unrelated entity. His vocabulary was still lacking to the point where diplomacy would be a challenge if this was a blade. He hoped it was just an animal's natural ability.

Based upon the angle and origin, it came from behind you.

Believe me, it is a good deal taller/bigger.

An Icy Portal starts to for-

Frame-Rate, Pause, Reverse!

"Ha. Wasn't Kos-Mos supposed to keep the rats out.."

That voice, it came from beneath the waves in front?

Generic~as Etherias

The Water is dissapearing from the front stream.

You can see a dark-skinned woman, with a Orchid Black Bodysuit, highlighted by the purple lights running through, and clear gem-like light sprouting from it. White hair, glasses and blue eyes and 3 blue gems residing on her chest in a triangular formation.

>Ask the woman why exactly she's in a flooded audience chamber. If she intends on trying to stop me from leaving, summon a pair of ice clones to protect me.

Since she's human sized, she'll probably expect me to be a tough opponent, especially since a house-sized demigod whose form is that of a lethal predator and has venom that can freeze people poisoned with it in place that can also summon clones and has ice shields and leaves behind a trail of solidified ice and can send ice shards and EMP pulses and can rapidly create ice shields to deflect blows and can fly on top of all that is definitely a threat in combat. And supernerd DID say demigods are the strongest possible entities in any world.

Other than World Law, which you are subject to. That and this is one of the strongest entities in this world. That's what random portals get you.

"Isn't that my question? Well, answer."

It should be noted, she just reversed your portal creation, and removed some of the water.

Gaal'garot hated to give the Scorpion ample opportunity to retreat back beneath the sand... But a fire elemental attack was more worthy of his immediate attention. He would turn around to see what produced it.
