Gaal'garot decides on his plan of action. He was going to deal with the scorpion as quickly as possible. Using his abilities granting speed and strength previously mentioned many times, he would charge right through the needle attack, then move to bite the scorpion in the same location as last time.

Gaal'garot decides on his response. He would maintain his bite, and make an attempt to crush the end of the scorpion tail with one of his hands.

He considered the scorpion a non-threat. As he did this, he would be paying more attention to the bird. If another fire attack was incoming he would use his other hand to grab the scorpion and jump in order to evade.

You try to stop it, but only succeed in it stabbing your arm.

You feel your energy disappearing at a slow, steady rate, even as you finish draining the blood from the right claw.

Gaal'garot was starting to identify an annoying trend with the monsters in the desert. Unlike the animals from where he came from, they seemed to have no qualms about endangering themselves by fighting dangerous enemies even after the danger became readily apparent. He was going to need to bring his B game to the table.

Apparently he still didn't have enough blood.

He knew now that the scorpion wasn't likely to retreat, so he could act accordingly. He would let go of his grip and spin in place. The scorpion would then have two choices; it could let go or it could get swung around in a circle at breakneck speed. As Gaal'garot spun, he would move closer and closer to the big rock...

You grab the scorpion by its tail and spin in place,

You can throw it at the rock if you wish, or that bird which is just about to land.

Gaal'garot chooses neither.

The bird is going to attack him. That much is obvious. He will instead throw the scorpion into the bird's attack when it comes. That ought to soften it up.

Whirling Whirlwind

Winds drive at you, picking up sand as well,

Gaal'garot proceeded with his previous plan, hurling the scorpion towards the whirlwind attack. He would then dash to the left to avoid it. The wind itself wasn't going to hurt him, but he knew that the bird could follow up with a fire attack. He didn't want to be launched airborne when it did.

The attack tears the scorpion to prices, literal pieces. It's dead.

That was in excess of what Gaal'garot had expected... It was probably the ether again. The implication was that this was an interaction of Wind ether from the bird and Earth ether from the Scorpion.

The scorpion form wasn't going to be especially useful against the bird... He would need to think on the scorpion's abilities later.

It seemed that the whirling whirlwind was a cutting attack while the wind burst was a impact attack... Though Gaal'garot wasn't sure if the fire attack was from the bird or something else; he didn't actually see the bird use it.

A full on charge would make Gaal'garot vulnerable to being knocked off the ground. He would try using the Sonic Screetch attack for now and see if it was effective or not.
