You decide to receive the mysterious diplomat personally, but not without the protection of your bodyguards, of course. Upon your arrival, you find an extraordinarily short dwarf woman who looks to be pushing 200 and wears a thick set of sight-glass which she seems to spend most of her time looking over. She nods at you and says, abruptly, "Word is you've started mining up here again and you were looking for somebody to smelt the ore. Other word is you've entered an exclusive contract with those Pareshtan scalpers. Well, I have a side offer for you, and I won't tell them if you won't."

A) Hear her out.
B) Send her away.

Roll to Multitask, seeking new players.
Yeah sorry, someone blew up a street in my state and took the internet down for multiple days with it.
This really happened. 2020 was wild.

We will not discuss such a thing with you madam good day!

Now if you want to stand here and say your proposal to this nice flower pot while I stand nearby, nobody can be blamed for that.

"Smart king. This is an opportunity you won't get often.", the old woman responds. "My home is the city of Kukigeer. Have you heard of it? It's a small fortified city on the surface, does a trade in spices and slaves and that sort of thing, but the most important thing about Kukigeer is that it is the refuge of the current head of the Aldellum clan and her descendants."

A spark of recognition jolts you at the name: Aldellum is the old jarl clan out of which Hehrcog the Brutal was born, and its head, the late King's positively ancient older sister, may well have been the most important jarl in this part of the world, at least until you ascended yourself to Kingship. You never knew that her family were so (relatively) close; you were under the impression that Hehrcog was born well to the north. You resolve to say as much, but the diplomat preëmpts you with her continued explanation. "Low King Hehrcog, who you probably know was the clanhead's brother, forced her and her children out of their homeland and into hiding to preserve his daughter's hold on the inheritance of his kingdom years ago, and they eventually came to settle in Kukigeer. They lived well there, for a time; Vucas, clanhead Omboriste's eldest daughter, even became the governor until she died of a plague. Now, though, Graszdat has set her sights on the family, particularly Vucas' only child, Omboriste's grandson and heir, Likutrïth. Graszdat hoped to induce Likutrïth to marry her to secure her legitimacy, but he refused, of course, and now the family believe Graszdat plans to wipe them out and claim the title of clanhead herself. So I have come to you with this offer: allow our ruling family to settle within your borders where Graszdat cannot reach, and they will command the town's entire smelting industry to come with them, equipment and all. Kukigeer may not be a Pareshtan in the field, but we certainly have more experienced smelters than Abystok, and they can all be yours in return for your protection. That is the deal I bring you."

You mull this over for a bit.

A) I don't want to import Hehrcog's family troubles, thanks.
B) But I do want to stick it to Graszdat, so her enemies are welcome to join (in exchange for presents)!
C) You sound pretty desperate. You probably have more to offer, right?
D) Actually, why don't you just migrate the entire population of Kukigeer, so they'll be safe from potential reprisal?

Sounds like we are not breaking our deal with this, no trade with outside clans lol.

The best kind of honoring the deal, the strictly technical.

We should have food to spare, possibly even expand our farms a bit to keep up the exports.

The old woman raises her eyebrows like she's trying to signal an air raid with them. "That would be... expensive. And difficult. But it can be arranged if you are willing to bankroll it and are sure that you can handle the influx. It will also take time, perhaps a month? Still, we should be extremely grateful of your protection, yes."

A) Agree, funding the migration using the rest of the "smelting fund" left over from the Pareshtan agreement.
B) Agree, funding the migration out of the treasury.
C) Nah, I changed my mind. (Pick a different option from last time.)
