Well I put together a sheet for when I finally get my own chance, even if it's going to be quite a while since I'm at the back of the waitlist.
Name: Darrel
Appearance: A tall, gruff-looking semi-humanoid beaver. His paddle tail is torn slightly.
Description: 32, Beaverman, Former Mall Santa, Male
Backstory: Darrel was a simple (beaver)man residing in the county of Shallowcreek, before it became known as Winterland. Formerly an underpaid and overworked convenience store clerk working to feed a wife and son, he took on a job as Mall Santa when the County passed it's law that every day would be Christmas. It was nice enough for a while, good pay from the near constant rush for new gifts, but of course, there were consequences. Christmas meant snow after all, and endless Christmas naturally brought with it endless snowfall. At first it wasn't much of a problem, but soon peoples homes were being buried, heating bills skyrocketed, people would freeze to death in the streets if they weren't prepared. The wealthy men and women living in the green district didn't care. With their district constantly heated by powerful generators, and so much of the money from the frantic shopping and the insane bills going to them, they enjoyed the tragedy they were inflicting upon the lower classes, and wouldn't have anyone ruining it. With planes unable to fly in the snowstorm, and cars unable to drive on buried roads, they followed up by outlawing trains to stop anyone from leaving and telling the rest of the world of what had happened. Darrel like so many others rushed to escape Shallowcreek, now known as Winterland, before they were all trapped. He and his family, garbed in thick winter clothes, rushed to get aboard the illegal last train out of Winterland before the enforcers could shut the whole thing down, Darrel himself barely made it aboard, his cape being torn up by the enforcers enormous bear-like dogs, but his family weren't so lucky, being captured and left behind. So he trained himself, and now, he seeks the Gizmo, to undo the freezing of Shallowcreek, and save his family.
