Ancient Dwarf Fortress, maybe?
« on: August 13, 2018, 11:32:10 pm »

Well...I'm really interested in make a kind of ancient-world personal setting, like a Conan-esque mod, more or less.

1-I'm aware about the medieval things that i need wipe-out, like a lot of weapons, tools and clothing. Any suggestion about this? Exist, outside the weapons, tools and clothes, medieval elements that need to be gone? The idea its give a really primitive feel with the setting.

2-Its there any mod that can help? Like mods that give ancient elements or primitive creatures.

Sorry for the inconveniences and possibles ortographical and gramatical mistakes, i speak spanish.

You can disable the mechanic labor in the entity file. That way you have no traps, bridges, pumps, automated things via pressure plates, etc.

A good idea would be to make forging stuff considerably harder.

Disable all normal smithing (disallow labors) and only allow copper and bronze weapon making, in a custom new workshop?
And make mining experience gain super low, harder digging.

Fine-tuning the skill rates. Because stone is plentiful, make stone-related skill gain harder.
