[MOD CONCEPT] Apocalypse Vault

Inspired by Gene Wolfe, Numenera, The Iron Dream, Gamma World and Caves of Qud (which was, in turn, inspired by Dwarf Fortress), this is a mod that I'm putting together.

The rough idea is that it is the far distant future. A cataclysm happened in the distant past that resulted in death and destruction on a massive level but now the world (and humanity) is moving on. Fortress players take the role of Vaulters, people who mostly live within sealed mountainhomes and have relatively advanced technology.

This would be a complete overhaul. Probably the only thing shared with default Dwarf Fortress will be some trees (and even then those particular trees will be hyper expensive).

Is there any interest in this?

Another apocalypse mod idea. Welcome to the club.

Not that that's a bad thing or anything. Just that there's a lotta apocalypse mods planned (such as mine for instance)
