You should focus less on those ones and more on this one.

Also we have four actions up because we have about four players. We're all actually playing.
We had more before but oh well.

Did it actually hear me? If not, I should probably write who I am and what I want on that note. Unless that seems like a bad idea, in which case I'll just wait for it to respond.

Then make my way to the hideout and pray to the Scholar, letting her know what happened today. Also tell/show video to any cultists there.

Spoiler: Helen "The Recorder" (click to show/hide)

You leave a nice note with your name and everything before heading to the hideout. You recount the day's events  to the scholar and gain a point of favor! Well...you would have if someone didn't take the Eye with them. Hmm. If it ever comes back you can do it then.

"Hm. I don't understand."

Hold the eye and ask it what just happened, and if we should do something about it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You ask the eye what just happened. It gives...an indescribable sensation. When asked about what to do, it gives you a very dull buzzing sensation that you think means "nothing".

Yeah.  Clean up, and then leave after double-checking.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
"That went well I guess."

Go back into the basement and look around again, see if we missed anything.
Spoiler: Richard Reed (click to show/hide)
You both head back in and look around. There is paraphernalia related to the moon and moths and other things in here, as well as rope and other bindings. A closer search reveals something interesting. Stuffed in a corner behind some debris is a police bade, complete with printed identification number. There were no cops in the group that were executed so there's a good chance this was dropped by someone else, maybe even one of the shooters. On the back of the badge is etched a very small "SILENCE".

Everyone gains 1 favor!

Head back to base.  See if we can pick up the package that was delivered, and hopefully Mr. Dragonface can just sneak past.

"Hey guys! I feel the Scholar is pleased. I bet you had a productive day! Was it filled with fear, surprise, confusion, intriguing revelations, weird magic, existential dread and cute moth hats like mine was?"

Do a check for bugs (both figurative and literal), people watching and other weird things while I await the return of the Scholar. One can never be too careful.

You scoop up the badge and feel a cold chill run down your spine. A warning.

You search the room for bugs....you don't find any physical bugs but you feel like something is wrong here. Like an ant under a magnifying glass must feel in the moments before casual inspection becomes targeted sunlight based attack. Something is watching this place in a way you cannot clearly understand or explain but feel.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Sean slinks past the front desk while whistling non-nonchalantly and looking the other way. It probably worked, mostly because the front desk guy was too busy watching football on a little portable tv to really pay attention.  Richard just walks by as normal.

The package, if its the one without a return address, is with the housewife who has been moved into the cult's room in her relative brain absence, meaning it is now "safely" in your possession.

"Why should I fear? Fear stops me from learning. Fear lets my enemy live."

Put the eye back in its cabinet for now.

Wish for the ability to find the owner of an item. Use it on the badge.

"I will not be afraid."

"Ailn, it may perhaps be more efficient to check if the badge has a name or identifying number on it, first."

Offer quick prayer of thanks to Scholar.

Are there any alternate exits in this basement?

Go outside, find some place near a payphone and keep watch. Alert the crew if something happens.

The feeling you get is odd. No flash of power or metaphysical confetti, just a dull understanding. You pick up the badge and concentrate on it. The knowledge doesn't come up like a map or some sensation pointing in the right direction. Instead you just sort of know, almost like you're remembering where the badge is from even though you should have no such memory. You don't know who the owner is or even what they look like but the knowledge of where they currently are is solid. They're apparently in a house a few miles away.

Spoiler: Helen "The Recorder" (click to show/hide)
There are no alternate exits to this room; just a single door out of the front.

You head outside and over to the nearest payphone, which is maybe 200 feet away against the wall of a building across the street. You lean against the wall and wait.

Open ye package.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Inside the package is a plastic bag filled with polaroid pictures and a note. The note is a simple scrap of paper with "DISBAND" written on it. The Polaroids are images of the interiors of homes.

The homes of members of the cult, specifically Helen's.
