Base organization. We need to make sure that we're safe before we try spewing out clones.

Could we first get a description of where it is we've landed? I'm assuming it's a jungle of some sort, but what does it all actually look like?

I'm currently thinking of trying to disguise our ship and patch up any holes other than the entrance that we want to use, so that we can be more certain that we've got a safe location to return to any time we need one.

The area directly outside the ship is a dense jungle with trees that reach close to 1000 meters high easily dwarfing the redwoods on Earth. You were able to get the ship right next to a tall, 2-3 km tall, mountain. The undergrowth is really dense in this area, there are a couple obvious trails, what made them tho you can not tell.
Anything else would have to found out by exploring and observing. Your ship currently has in stock: a ration masher, a cloning vat, 100 biomatter, a reprocessor, 20 building materials, a printing machine, 100 rations, and a set of basic hand tools; you also have 1 clone that survived as well.

What do you and your clone do?

I think a little scouting would be good we need to check out what resources we have in the jungle before we do any big projects

First let's use some building materials to fortify an area of the ship with all of our stuff in it.

You send the clone out to scout while you fortify the ship. The clone comes back after 5 days and comes back with a bear sized creature and knowledge about the surrounding area. The bear sized creature is about 600 kilograms(kilos) and looks like a black bear from Earth's North America, you clone told you that there looks to be a decent population of these bears as well as a few other smaller creatures, the bears seem to be the apex predator in this area. During those 5 days you use about 10 building materials to fortify the section of the ship that had the machines and supplies that survived.

Base fortifications unlocked!
Mapping unlock possible
hunting unlock possible
Base Organization unlock possible

What do you do now? (you can unlock something and do things as well)

Stats:
1 ration masher
1 cloning vat
100 biomatter
1 reprocessor
10 building materials
1 printing machine
90 rations
1 set of basic hand tools
1 clone
1 600 kilogram bear

Question 1: Is the bear that we have alive or dead?

Question 2: Wouldn't any clone of Eva, who is female, be female?

Answer 1: unless specified otherwise all animals that clone collect are dead, so dead

Answer 2: You are right the clones would be female, my bad.

I say unlock mapping, I want to be able to see the area we're in.

Also, Base Organization was the choice we made to start with. Did you mean "Clone Organization unlock possible"?

And let's try to process the edible parts of the bear into rations and he rest into biomatter.
