In the location screen, I'd love to see a list of all of the scholarly discoveries made by the fortress.

I bet that's the plan when those discoveries actually do something other than consume resources and take up space...

They add some flavor to the books too. Also I can’t really imagine the static topic tree of about 300 items takes up much space comparing to the histfigs in even a pocket-size world. That said they are kind of useless from a player’s standpoint, and I sure wouldn’t mind them doing more, but they don’t hurt by just being there.

I believe they are ment to become randomly constructed later on.
