Not as I can see, you could perhaps replace the race textures in raw/grapics with the correct substitutes, im pretty sure someone else did it before. If you find it to hard to compile it yourself, I could perhaps make an Insert compile to replace the meph raw/graphics file

Vordarks are very nice too. Vordark has cleaner pixel art, while mine are more of a scruffy darker palette, breaking a lot of the unofficial rules regarding pixelart. Which is what I was going for. I know some do not like the "Garden Gnome" look to them, but thats how I have always seen dwarves and how Icelandic mythology pictures them.

Upholding a 16x16 set just became to much work. I can scale everything down, but the result, while passable, will never be as detailed or as good as native 16x16 sets. The 24x24 handles scaling better, so I would rather focus my energy on making a compatible 24x24 set, though even there a lot of detail is lost.

I'd just like to say the only garden gnome looking thing to them really is the hats some of them have. The rest look decidedly dwarfy rather than gnomey, at least in my opinion on another look. Also, my vote's for the gold-trimmed version.The solid gold armored weapon masters look a bit obnoxious, assuming you're still fishing for opinions.

So, I have a little project in mind. This'll play nice with mods, yeah? Because ZM5 made a darkest dungeon mod that's gonna feature pretty heavily in it.

I've been toying around with minetracks and finally have a result im happy with. Slowly but sureley Ive been replacing the snatch and resized assets in the alpha tileset. Be up and ready for a small but important update during the next couple of days.

Also, if anyone wants to make a more unique color profile, or have one I can use, I would be most grateful, so far I've just been using phobeus or vanilla df.

The next update will have new workshop designs. tracking us closer and closer towards the full release. The basic tileset is soon done.

I wonder how your mountain gnomes would look in comparison.

I'll probably have to be even more wacky in my design to pull it off. I may decide to make the gnomes leprechauns etc.

Damn it, now I want to kick that friendly and clean design we have out of a window, and do grimdark gothic DF instead.

The sprites look awesome! Keep in mind that future releases offer complete control over each individual workshop tile/Sprite.
