b]The creation of the next serum is at hand!, the hyper-serum that increases your toughness of skin to handle extreme velocities, move faster than before and the ability to process information faster, allowing during adrenaline your mind to process so much information that everyone seems to slow down in comparison as well combining the improvement in speed. Test this on the lab subjects such as the horses and hamsters. While the Tiger-Iguanas are the ones bringing in test humans for next experiments.

Try and reach out online regarding customers for my narrow use AI, there's got to be a customer base out there willing to pay top dollar for maximum efficiency.

[1d6 +1(quality) = 5+1 = 6] As it turns out, that customer was the FBI by way of a front company. Strange how these things work out.

Go to my lab and build a prototype of the rocket

[1d6+skill bonus = 4+1 = 5] You head back to your laboratory without any issues and quickly build a prototype rocket.

Bob will run as fast as Bob can, and then Bob will duck in to some random buildings and Bob will keep running.

Bob speed (1d6 = 5) vs hamster speed (1d6 +1(serum) -2(mortally wounded) = 1+1-2 = 0)

The hamsters trip over their own feet, but you don’t stop running until you’re several blocks away.

(what resistance does the city muster?) [1d6 +1(escalation) = 2+1 = 3] A lone police officer notices the hole in the wall and the cloud of gas and heads inside your laboratory.

study the cylinders, what they do and if there is a way to track them.

(what they do) [1d6+skill bonus = 4+1 = 5] You quickly deduce that they are cloning vats with cooling systems attached to prevent overheating.

(way to track them) [1d6+skill bonus +skill bonus(studied them) = 5 skill level 1] All you had to do was calculate the subtle magnetic fields caused by the electronics, request and receive access to a satellite capable of detecting magnetism, slap a user interface on the device, and presto! A GPS-grade tracking device for the cloning vats.

You hand the device over to the FBI agent in charge, causing him to grin broadly. He motions an assistant over, who hands you a check for several thousand dollars. “Well,” he says, “that’s all we need from you. The disturbance in the city has been ended, so you don’t strictly need an escort, but we’ll still drive you back to your lab if you need it.”

"Time to insert the program."

Code the Sub-space Communication Hub Program into it. Then set up the software for the Longreach A-00 Bots.{Spider bot names}(Won't need to roll to control once this bit is set up.)

Make sure to feed the now 2 bots.

[1d6+1 +skill bonus(machine) = 1+1+1 = 3] You code the hub program into the supercomputer, but you don’t manage to find the Longreach A-00 bots until they have replicated themselves once more.

Y'know what, it sounds to me that I shouldn't use diodes and the like with pentacles until I know exactly how they work.
That said, the set of pentacles that used the diodes were supposed to be a collection of multiple pentacles, each with the same basic design, with diodes in them in various manners in order to see how they affected the summoning.

Anyway.

Activate the wire-summoning pentacle, and research magic-insulating materials. Presumably, if I use those, I could summon gold, silver, and bronze all day without worrying about interference.

You already activated the wire-summoning pentacle.

[1d6+skill bonus = 6-1 = 5] After various tests, you determine that bismuth acts as an insulator for magic, weakening the strength of all magic that passes near it.

lets not journey into the realm of mind controlling other humans. Develop a countermeasure to prevent human-to-human mind control.

[1d6+skill bonus = 2+1 = 3] You manage to develop a technique preventing you from being psychically controlled, but it is too inefficient for any other psychics to use.

Ia Ia, Dark Pharaoh, we are just mere servants of your will. All we want is your victory over elder things, who tried to hide your glory from this world

Swear fealty to Nyarlothotep

[1d6 +1(eldritch whims) = 5+1 = 6] To prove your loyalty, you must sacrifice the humans here. Every other human in the temple must die.

"This devise is not what I had in mind."

My clones work on that tunnel idea. I will start the cloning vat, as well as begin working on changing the stucture of my clones' minds so that we can communicate telepathically.  I am thinking more along the lines of a hive mind with myself as the leader.

Come on FBI roll a 1 or 6+.

(tunnel) [1d6 +skill bonus(well-equipped) = 6-1 = 5] Your clones have dug out about a block’s length of tunnel so far.

(cloning vat) [1d6 = 2] This time, it just straight-up refuses to work.

(hive mind) [1d6 = 2] Without any knowledge of psionics, you don’t even know where to begin.

(federal investigation) [1d6 +1(psychic powers) -2(hobbled*2) +skill bonus(quality narrow AI) = 2+1-2+1 = 2] Their investigators have not uncovered any clues.

b]The creation of the next serum is at hand!, the hyper-serum that increases your toughness of skin to handle extreme velocities, move faster than before and the ability to process information faster, allowing during adrenaline your mind to process so much information that everyone seems to slow down in comparison as well combining the improvement in speed. Test this on the lab subjects such as the horses and hamsters. While the Tiger-Iguanas are the ones bringing in test humans for next experiments.

(hyper-serum) [1d6 = 3] It gives speed and reflexes in the 99th percentile, but that’s about it.

(test humans) [1d6 = 2] The tiger-iguanas couldn’t find any group of humans that wasn’t under guard by a SWAT team.

The television in the background continues to talk about the weather… no, wait, now it’s talking about your hamsters. “-ormerly thought to be bears, the green animals that rampaged through town earlier today were found to be hamsters upon closer investigation. Police have stated that they will make every effort to find the source of…” And apparently they’re all dead.

Turn 12 end.
Turn 13 begin.

Spoiler: Things of interest (click to show/hide)

In this turn: One police officer is more effective than a squad of police.

"Bob's lab has been destroyed, but Bob shall persevere and Bob shall build a new lab somewhere!"
Bob shall go back to the lab and retrieve Bob's car then Bob will go and look for an abandoned office building and make that Bob's new lab.

4 of them now.

Software set-up. Coding in the relay and connecting them to the hub.

Software determines location of spiders, as well as actions. I can set them up in groups to perform certain tasks, or send them to locations.

Remember to feed them.

As the software should be fairly easy with the Hub Program set-up, See about creating a Dragonfly bot. Nanotech makes for light works, and the fact that they also can change their color is built into the skin. They should also be capable of turning what the eat into Nano-material, which is defaulted to a string like substance that can be built up until a new Dragonfly bot is created, kinda like an egg.

Light like a dragonfly, and like one in most ways too.

If I plate a silver wire with bismuth, will it weaken the current of magic going through it, or insulate it from outside magic? Test this by getting three wires, two just silver the other silver with bismuth plating - and leave one of the silver ones curved into a U-shape, while twisting the other two so that they have one side that's a loop, one side that's got the two ends of the wire, and between them, a section where the wires touch each other to cause a short circuit. Power the wires and have magic sensors monitoring the magic level in the loop area for both twisted wires and the end of the curve for the non-twisted wire (make sure the bismuth is removed in the monitoring area).

Aside from that, I'd like to check if I can design pentacles that allow for scrying. It's a relatively safe way to check for non-summoning functions of magic.

"Time to fix the cloning device."

Put my effort into seeing what is wrong with the cloning vat and seeing if I can make it more efficient with less of a magnetic footprint. Clones find me a hobo and carefully, without drawing attention, bring him back.

Unfortunately, I don't understand how the wires are supposed to be arranged. Can you make some ASCII art or something?
