Decipher what these npcs babble about

Soos, I'm in this gobbo tower hacking up this gobbo, and apparently several goblins are near stairs above me, just spectating, and one of them says, "In a time before time I attacked me."

???

The two goblins are an engraver and brewer. The brewer than repeated that statement word for word as if the engraver wasn't listening, but the engraver finally replied with, "I am a very, very important person," and shortly afterward my vicious hacks managed to cleave the gobbo's head.

They're pretty self-centered.

I'm playing 44.05 with Grimlocke's History & Realism mod. That is an old bug. I just had another strange occurance, maybe I shouldn't have made two topics. It is probably a bug, though I'm using a mod. Does the bug tracker accept modded listings?

Ha, some of these kind of make sense if it'd say something other than "attack."

That's what happens when non historical figures talk about an incident regarding a non historical figure, the dialogue can't distinguish between neither of the two so it looks at them as more like the same or one. This is how you tell theres an abstract population within a site
