An advanced fighter you mean. We have an old fighter in the AGC-AMD "Saeth" Mod 2B and a heavy fighter in the ACG-AMD AC15 "Saethydd".

And theres a question, howmany dice do we have this turn?

Good catch there Aseaheru, we actually saved one, so we have six dice to work with. That means we could progress the Cefyll, start a fighter project and do a revision this turn, but if we do that then either the advanced fighter or the Cefyll will be left on the backburner next turn. I'd rather have the flexibility of extra dice if need be.

I mean, I dont really see an effective use for the Cefyll past perhaps reverse Schräge Musik...

Wandering away from my confusion, voteblock time, I guess. Get that outta the way.

So you guys missed my vote then?

Quote from: Vox Populi
[1] 2 Dice, 4PP to project Cefyll (no other spends this phase): Kashyyk

We've already invested in an actual ground attack craft. We've also demonstrated that ground attack is a good way to get prestige. I think we should finish the Cefyll off, instead of wasting those dice we spent to design it.

Afaik, we don't progress projects unless we spend dice on them, again a reason why I want to spend dice on the Cefyll.

I'd be happy to support a fighter though, but I'm not currently sure which one.

Sorry about that Kashyyk, thought it was a suggestion or something forgot about it, and then made the voteblock half an hour later.
Dub, only if we spend a die on it. Else it will just sit then till whatever.

On fighters, yeah, the Nodwydd is probably a better plan then going fer the Dart. I am going to just edit it slightly first... and change my vote...

Quote from: ACG-AMD AC15 "Nodwydd"
The Aircraft, Design of 1915 "Nodwydd" is an alternative design proposed by Awyrennau Gwynt Cryf-Atebion Mecanyddol Deinamig to cut costs and have a more interception-focused design resulting in a, to dumb it down to its simplest, a single seat pusher-configuration biplane intended to be armed with twin machineguns. Or, to go by the actual design log, "a pusher-configuration biplane(possessing a flat upper high-set and a lower dihedral(which, where it meets the fuselage is thickened to contain a fueltank) wingset in a single bay while wire braced and possessing a forward staggar) crewed by a single pilot, poweredby an improved form of the Rhodri 10-160 D16 armed with twin hull-mounted Cadwynog ŷd AGAA ACD15 machinecannon while possessing a structure consisting of geodetic wooden or duralumin stringers covered in doped fabric varnished to a smooth finish.

Time: 5 | Progress: 2 | Expense: 3

The engineers who worked on the Saethydd are brought in to work on what they consider a simple task that shouldn't take too much time. After all, how difficult can making a single seat Saethydd with smaller wings be? Regardless, they are currently adjusting to the whole 'making a fighter thing' but it shouldn't take too long for them to get their barrings. Though, the experimental Duralumin construction will cost a bit...

ACG-AMD AC15 "Nodwydd" | 2/16 progress | 2 PP per die | Rushed 0 times | 2 PP invested

Effectiveness: 6 | Cost: 4 | Bugs: 5

As it turns out, their work on a small aircraft that would be able to dogfight enemy aircraft effectively turns out quite well already. Powered by a heavily modified Rhodri called the Rhodri 10-180 D15 and having a sleek aerodynamic wing design, means that the finished aircraft has the potential to reach top speeds higher than any of our other aircraft, in fact, they believe it should be able to match, if not surpass with a few adjustments, the first version of the enemies own fighter once finished. And that's not all, the prototype is quite maneuverable thanks to its aforementioned wing design that should allow for quicker turning. Of course, if all of this was all there was it would be good but there is even more...

The aircraft's frame is not made out of wood but instead made out of duralumin, which will undoubtedly increase the amount of punishment it can take and make the frame of our aircraft much more effective in its current state. It does however, add a bit more weight, though that shouldn't be too much of an issue for the aircraft's performance. Additionally, its armed with the early prototypes of the Cadwynog ŷd AGAA ACD15 machinecannon, which has a Drych sight along with having tracer rounds and normal rounds (abet, only for bullets of its caliber) and has a somewhat low rate of fire of fire at only 100 RPM, but the caliber makes up for this. However, this does mean it will cost a bit...especially considering what most of the industrial output we are assigned is for.

It is now the Revision Phase. You have 3 die remaining to spend on Revisions or Save for the next turn.

I'm a little sad that no one wants to progress the Cefyll, but ah well. Have a bunch of Revisions instead!

Quote from: Engine Substitution
The Nodwydd has an excellent engine, and the Cefyll does not. The Cefyll design will thus be updated to use the new 'Rhodri 10-180 D15' engine

Quote from: Tracer Rounds
By mixing various chemical mixtures/elements into the propellant for our bullets, we can get them to leave a distinctive trail behind them. This will be useful for our gunners to correct their aim, both in the air and on the ground.

Quote from: 'Llygad' Reflector Sights
Via a lens-and-mirror parlour trick, we can cause a targeting reticule to point in the right direction regardless of the angle looks through the sight. This will massively aid in shooting accuracy.

Quote from: Deg punt Tri modfedd Bomb
A quick modification on the mortar shell, that involves taking out the unneeded mortar propellant, reducing durability slightly (as it doesn't need to survive a propellant detonation), adding some basic guidance fins and filling the remaining weight limit with more HE payload. We should get a bigger, more accurate bang for our buck by removing unnecessary features of our shells.

It amuses me that "use cefyll engine and get it working" resulted in a new engine. As fer the Llygad, clearly the superior option is the Drych.

Plus, well, the result on the AGAA is amusingly poor in respect to its rate of fire. So, theres a revision I want to grab...

Quote from: Cadwynog ŷd AGAA C15 Mark 1
Being a recoil operated weapon, particularly where the firing of one barrel operates the action of the other, a total rate of fire of only 100 rounds per minute in the initial mark is strange to say the least, and not as effective in air-to-air combat. Thus, the Mark 1 update, working to bring the weapon to a more expected rate of fire of roughly 1500 rounds per minute. Additionally, work is underway to introduce ammunition with incendiary or high-explosive charges.

Quote from: Ysgubor Project
The Ysgubor Project is an effort to replace existing AGAA AC15 mounts on our airframes with Cadwynog ŷd AGAA CD15 or Cadwynog ŷd AGAA C15 Mark 1s wherever possible, potentially in the form of universal mountings so as to increase versatility, particularly in the case of ground-attack missions. This also includes, where applicable, the Drych sight.

What is this 'Drych' to which you refer?

Also, our names are unreadable enough without the gratuitous letters in them.

The "mirror" sight, part of the "chained corn" two-corn machinecannon.

Hey, those letters have a use. And its not just confusing us either! I think I need to get together a list of the acronyms we do use tho...

Right, discussion appears to have petered out. Voteblock time. I guess with three votes for revisions per person?
