Fifth proposal:

Far/long Eye Camera System
An improvement to the camera system intended initially for use for balloon crews, the Far Eye is a set of lenses intended to give our cameras rather long ranges, along with the focusing technology needed to keep them working.

Alternate reading of proposal four:
Bloeddiwr Project
Utilizing aspects of an airframe to shed mass by integrating antenna into structural systems, replacement of batteries with wind-generators, and other costsaving(and potentially performance enhancing) measures, even our existing GW78 should have significantly improved preformance. Combine that with improved sparkgap transmitters, basic regenerative circuitry and basic forms of frequency modulation, the improvement should be on an order of magnitude greater.

Nitpicky proposals:
-Rename the Aerial Machinegun Conversion project to the "Arf Gwasanaeth Awyr Awtomatig C15 project(AGAA AC15)"
-Rename the bombardment rack to the "Cerigach Dafl AC15 project(CD C15)"
-Rename the under eye to "Dan Lygad Camera Project", or simply the DL.

Rationale fer the Fareye over the Undereye is that the Fareye contains tech that would improve subsequent design of the Undereye. Meanwhile, the reverse is not true.

Pren Gwyn Revision Phase, Early Autumn 1915
Aerial Machinegun Conversion

By upgrading the DG TyD to remove the water jacket and replace it with heat dispersing fins along the barrel, the overheating issue is to be resolved. In addition, the internal components of the gun are to be carefully catalogued to identify probable jamming causes. The identified issues will then be replaced with more suitable components to reduce jams. Finally, the machinegun sight is to be made essier to aim in flight, with a horizontal lead guide.
Efficacy: 6

The Arf Gwasanaeth Awyr Awtomatig C15, shortened to AGAA AC15 is a modified version of the DG TyD, or rather a machine gun based on the DG TyD that is lighter thanks to being air cooled rather than water cooled, allowing the gun to not be made too heavy to be used with cooling while not being too heavy to be an issue for our aircraft. Additionally the gun has been made very reliable and unlikely to jam thanks to a quick run through the varying components and mechanisms inside the gun and a new simple sight was added to allow easier shooting for the pilots. In all other respects, the gun is equivalent to the old DG TyD. Finally thanks to some contract shenanigans, all new aircraft equipped with the DG TyD have had the guns replaced, though existing squadrons will require a 1 PP refit.

Far/long Eye Camera System
An improvement to the camera system intended initially for use for balloon crews, the Far Eye is a set of lenses intended to give our cameras rather long ranges, along with the focusing technology needed to keep them working.
Efficacy: 5

The Llygad Hir camera is a heavily modified version of the civilian cameras used for taking pictures of all the members of Balloon squadrons. Regardless the Llygad Hir is a glass plate camera fixed at infinity focus that is manually loaded and comes with a box to hold the plates. Needless to say, balloon squadrons will now get much nicer photographs of their members and also so will the rest of our squadrons, and if given to our pilots on recon, much easier to do reconnaissance then the old pen and paper route.

Efficacy: 6

As it turns out, getting engineers who actually work with things like radios on a project for radios is much more effective then simply throwing a bunch of engineers who are skilled with making the structure of a wing aerodynamic and durable. The Bloeddiwr project, or Bloeddiwr 79 as it's been called, has indeed cut out the need for a battery and has done numerous improvements to the radio, doubling it's range and cutting its weight down to 50 pounds and increasing its wave length, now being 400 to 600kHz. While cost cutting measures where done, it is a time costing undertaking to retrofit an aircraft with it, costing 2 PP to equip a Squadron...

Right, half of our production capacity is tied up in existing airframes. Upgrading existing airframes is something like 3PP if I remember correctly...

Pren Gwyn Design Phase, Late Autumn 1915

There is a new Ace, Garth Mathias, in Gwerinwyr Adran.

The Admirals are content with the results of the latest raid, they don't blame the air force for any losses of their ships, and the battle at sea was a victory. Still, they plan on being less aggressive with future raids for the time being, and aren't going deeper into the shallow waters large ships shouldn't sail into...

The General on the road to Nachtburg requests more aircraft urgently, specifically the new Saethydd's, and also some balloons to help deal with the Schwarzes Holz and take back the ground lost.

The general in charge of the advance on Sprungburg is annoyed, and requests some more forces to help with the advance and to get to the city before the snow starts falling too harshly. Meanwhile, General Dremidydd Rosser is pleased with what was done and would request such operations on his side of the lines continues as they have.

High command has increased your budget by 2 PP, as the country devotes more factories to war.

The Air Force has indirectly affected the ground war for a while now, thanks to scouting missions and observation balloons. It is time for us to take more direct action.

AGC-AMD AC15 "Cefyll"
A two-seater geodetic-frame biplane in standard puller configuration, powered by a Rhodri 10-160 D15 (a general improvement on the Saethydd's engine). The main developments this plane has is a pair of floor-mounted ground-attack AGAA AC15 machine guns fitted at a 45 degree angle with a simple periscope, allowing the gunner to fire on ground targets whilst the plane flies level. It also comes with a partial steel frame, taking the form of a box, containing the engine, pilot and gunner. The steel itself is 0.2 inches thick and is a structural part of the plane itself. A third AGAA AC15 machine gun on a ring mount allows the gunner to fend off enemy fighters. Finally, about 200lb of additional payload is to be accounted for, be it a radio, or some form of as-yet-undesigned explosive weapon. Engineers have discussed ideas such as dropping artillery shells, or even firing rockets!
