Trump was fairly elected by the entire populace, and therefore should get to have final say on absolutely everything we do, 100% of the time.  Anything else would be socialism, and we all know how well that turned out for Chyna.

NOT.  TREMENDOUS.

Joining the humans as a non-trump hero; Ambitious frontier officer Rey Leon

Now, I did the math, and after we thaw out the five need Horticulturalists to run our green houses, we would have room to house 20 more people and enough food to feed 10 more people.  If we pulled out all 20 of our habitats and 60 greenhouses we could house 1000 and feed 1080, and if keep our numbers a little over 700 we can feed everyone extra rations (Feed 3000 Cal/day).  This is assuming we can just pull everything out in a single turn whenever we want.

I say we wake up 425 more Technicians, 65 Horticulturalists, and 150 Security men, just enough we can feed everyone 3000 calories a day.  We need Techies more then anything else since they run everything, while Horticulturalists are mostly going to be farmers.  Each Hectare needs only one farmer, and five extra is a good buffer if we need them for anything else/a farmer calls in sick, and we can pull out Horticulturalists as we make farms.  150 Security men is a decent number, but I should note that our soldiers don't even have the distinction of being called security GUARDS.

If we end up designing something, it should be something to improve our resource yields or quality of life, or maybe some kind of passive defensive like a electric fence to keep animals out.

Actually first we should design a new training program to bring them up to AT LEAST 95% range accuracy. 55% is just...you can barely hit your target half the time when firing in perfect conditions?

Oh, and a fitness level above "mediocre" would also be great.

They are called Security MEN, and not Security Guards for a reason...  but maybe we should be calling them Security BOYS until they get deserve to be called Men.

don't worry, Trump only gets one vote, like the rest of the human trillionaires or self-important management types who came along on the expedition...

The security men only needed 55% accuracy to qualify with their weapons... That's the standard for bootcamp and most rifle and pistol qualification courses at the minimum level.

Never ever cease communication with your enemies, never ever cease interaction with them, never isolate yourself from them. Never ignore them, relish the time to deal with them, to exercise banter. The biggest mistake one can make is ignoring one's enemies. Go out of your way to pick a fight today.

Foxhound Ground Penetrating Sensor
-Developed to allow us to not have to transport bulky equipment or spend resources simply prospecting, this mobile radar station fits on 2 quad-bike stowage racks, and can be used to scan for resources without digging into the planet. Also, we should name the planet.
