Nether cap Refrigerator?

If I make a room out of Nether cap would that act as a walk in refrigerator? How about a barrel/bin made of nether?

I don't think so. Constructions don't really do temperature stuff.

I wonder if nether cap paved roads would work, though.

Barrels made out of nethercap should conduct temperature I believe, but I'm not sure it would actually do anything useful as far as food preservation goes.  Still pretty cool (pun intended) for RP reasons, of course.

I wonder if you could use them to create ice cream in warm embarks. Not sure of milk's freezing temperature.

Looks like it may be able to freeze milk, but I'm not sure if the heat transfer can actually get it down to the full 10000U.
