Military graphics not showing in status screen?

I'm using a graphics set and the only problem I'm having is in my fort's status screen, all of the military units show the default dwarf sprite instead of the individual professions (Axedwarves, Hammerdwarves, etc). During regular gameplay, the graphics work fine and it uses the correct sprites for each dwarf.

Is there some config I'm missing somewhere? I'm using version 43.05, could this be a bug that was fixed in a more recent version?
