(3) You try to posses Enemy Post but you can't, as he seams to be surrounded by almost a dozen demons which makes it hard to figure out who's, who.

(Getting out of the sewer = 3) You spend several more minutes looking for an exit, but you still can't find one.
Keep attacking the giant monster.
(4) After reloading the cannons you have the crew fire again, and every cannon hits the target.
Have them mine some more, and figure out what coppers good for, and have them build some stores, set them up to sell stuff from, and hire staff.
(Mining = 4) The mine produces even more copper and stone.
(Figuring out copper = 2) They spend several minutes messing with the copper but they can't figure out anything its good for yet.
(Building stores = 5) They also spend awhile building several stores from which they'll eventually sell things.
(Setting up = 5) Then they spend even more time stalking the shelves.
(Getting people to work at them = 2) But no one wants to work at the stores.
