Some general cheats for adventurer mode?
« on: December 04, 2016, 01:11:34 pm »

Hi. I'm thinking of using DFHack to cheat in Dwarf Fortress and have found some useful commands like ones that allow for body swapping and spawning in items. I have not managed to find certain commands for adventurer mode, though. I've looked for them at and with general google searches.

Here are the commands I would like that I can't find:
1. Make my adventurer invincible
2. Make my adventurer invulnerable to symptoms of poisons and the like.
3. Make my adventurer be able to kill any creature, without fail.
4. Make my adventurer be incredibly fast.
5. Make my adventure be able to fly.
6. Make my adventurer teleport to locations.
7. Make the whole travel map visible.

These things are just some of the general cheat stuff you'd find in most games. Please can someone help me find the commands that can do these things, or other options to use these cheats.

you probably want to select your character via look then type gui/gm-editor into the command console.
which boots up a large list of stuff you can do to your adventurer to unlock most of those things.

some of the fortmode scripts and plugins might work in adventure mode.
the last 2 have to be made but the other stuff above that could be set if you play a birdman and turn on ghostly outside of moving fast you need to find the global debug "turbospeed " in "gui/gm-editor "

and even then the game can still cause your character to lose with all this stuff on.
I thought I would I had never hear my daughter's escapades from some boy...
"body swapping and YOU!"

I have an idea, which I did not put into practice, but it's worth trying:
have DFHack installed, and do an external program that loopes the "dfhack-run full-heal" command.
Each time you enter the status screen your adventurer must heal.
