Reference? It was almost a whole-plot transplant.

(The world map becomes wraparound in one direction (say east-west, hereafter turnwise-widdershins) with one edge no longer being impassible (south?, now 'rim') with the ability for things, creatures or water to fall off into... and the other edge ('hub'!) now assumed to be increasingly bunched up (should be closer together, at world-scale, but to satisfy the grid system just make it effectively harder to traverse) into an unclimbable border, above which all the gods live.)

((Ignore the fact that it's been - partially - done in another way, already. I'm just terriblising the concept, with the kludges necessary to make it 'work', for the sake of this thread.  ))

All dwarven bodily fluids and excretions are replaced with magma (cooled magma in the case of solid waste). Dwarves aren't immune to their own effect either.

They can also be milked (or "milked", as the case may be) for a steady supply of magma, which is great for when you want a magma pool but you're not patient enough to wait for your miners to hit the magma sea.

When an adventurer reaches high skills (of any kind,) random bandits and other NPCs begin to spawn with legendary skills and adamantine armor.

Any time a player or a dwarf complains about a feature, it is automagically removed from every existing copy of DF and cannot be re-implemented.

Remove all open world/sandbox aspects of adventure mode and make the entire game just your adventurer standing in place and grinding their skills by defeating progressively more challenging waves of enemies which run at them, eventually culminating in an Archangel boss when your adventurer reaches legendary in all their skills.

Dwarves embark on top of a mountain of dwarves that they'll have to mine through using a dwarf as a pick, trees are just dwarves that stand still and which your embark team can butcher for building parts every now and again, all wild animals are changed to "feral dwarves", livestock and pets are mute dwarves without citizen rights, megabeasts, titans, and forgotten beasts are dwarves with insanely high skills and stats which come to attack your fort once in a while, etc.
