Bio: Born in Lantan Port, she grew up a fairly average child. Born of a Laguz and a Human, they lived for a time happily, for a time.
Her Parents, a Tiger Laguz, and a Huntress, took her out to learn about hunting when she was 5, and did so again when she was 6..

On their trip when she was 7, bandits attacked them, killing her parents and capturing her.

From there she was sold to slavers, and they took her by ship from Dashun to Morcia. Steelheart and his men were however hired to take out someone who was experimenting with Dark Magic, going far beyond what was normal in an attempt to eternal life.. During this job, they ended up killing the Slavers and freeing the slaves, and left the freed in a nearby village.

Arice eventually joined up with a passing caravan in a few months, helping out with it. After 2 years moving from caravan to caravan, she managed to get back to Dashan, Lantan Port, but she never forgot Steelhart..


Steelhart's company began to gain some renown, and she heard of their code. She eventually apprenticed to one of her parents' old comrades to learn Healing Magic. After she completed her Apprenticeship, she decided to serve as a Mercenary for Caravans, keeping to her contracts, and making sure everyone was healthy.

After a few years experience, she took on a job or two with the Steelhart Mercenaries to help them in Dashun before moving on to other jobs herself. After a while, she took jobs with the caravans and traveled to meet Steelhart himself, on recommendation of his men. Negotiating terms for more experience, she joined his group at 20, a few months before her 21st birthday.


Despite being 23, she's only 4'7. She came to be known as the "Little Sister" by the caravans, and that title spread to the general world.

Her Specialty is Battlefield Management, keeping her allies going, and acting to reposition them as necessary. As such part of her Contracts tend to be to keep her stocked through the Gold needed for buying replacement Staves. She also carries a Heal Staff as part of her standard kit. She carries Barrier Staves as well as Sharpness, Antidote, and Soothe Staves when she has the Gold for it, but she only really buys them when she will be needing it. She has an interest in Status Staves, but does not normally buy them due to her lack of skill in that area.

Having spent a good amount of time with caravans, she has a certain pragmatism for Gold and People, but does not really see Laguz and Humans all that differently, other than their mindsets.


Most who only know of her reputation see her as kind, and this does hold true. She isn't one to withhold treatment day to day, prefering to heal the injured when she can afford to. She would like to see the rift between every Race healed, to a point, and "dislikes" those who lie and hurt others for their own gain and amusement.


Seraphy is short for Seraphim, and her mother, Alice Seraphim was cut out of the succession line for marrying her husband.
Arice doesn't really speak to them, and didn't know they were related until she was 21, after she had done some jobs with the Steelhart Mercenaries.

Arice has only returned twice to Lamport, once in a caravan before her apprenticeship, where she found the info to meet her teacher, and once as part of one of her jobs with a Steelhart Mercenary group before she joined up officially..


The main reason Arice uses Healing is because she dislikes bloodshed. She can work around it easily enough these days, but keeping others alive is something she believes in, even as she acknowledges that the world is rarely so kind as to give you that option. Life is a sacred thing, and spilling blood needlessly is anathema to her. In this, she agrees with Steelhart's views on only killing the criminal, those who denounce this belief through their own actions.

After Godric's birth, his mother was disowned and cut off from the rest of her family, forcing her to live on the streets with her newborn child. Despite their grim situation, she never lost hope and continued to raise Godric as best as she could, getting the food they needed through begging. Godric was barely 5 years old when her mother fell sick, and brought to a nearby monastery for healing by a passerby. Alas, as much as the acolytes tried, her health continued to worsen during the following years until she succumbed to her illness, leaving Godric orphan at the age of 7.

Without any place to go, one of the monks decided to adopt and raise him in the teachings of God. The years passed, and Godric was trained in the art of healing, but his tendency to doubt and question everything would cause frequent conflicts with the monks. Godric didn't agree with their pacifist lifestyle, as he saw living in seclusion as turning their back on the rest of the world and leaving it to it's fate. People was born innocent and free from sin. So, shouldn't their duty as servants of God be to cleanse the world from evil? Once it was clear that their views were irreconcilable, Godric left on his own at the age of 21 and started living by himself. During the next few years, Godric wandered from village to village, offering healing in exchange of food or shelter for a day before leaving to the next town.

A few years ago, Godric learned about Steelhart's company and decided to join them as a healer. At first, he wasn't really interested on mercenary work, but the job offered money and, most importantly, the opportunity to be part of something bigger than himself. And when he met Grae Steelhart, for the first time in his life he felt that he was at the right place, a place where even an outcast like him could fit. He's been a loyal member of the band for about five years already, during which he learned to use the sword and ride a horse.

Bio:
Born and raised in the mining town of (X) in Dashun, Benedict Lucius was brought into the world by an older couple, unfortunately losing his father at an early age to an accident in the mines, who he barely remembers, mostly recalling scattered moments of bliss, and that time he woke up one day in a cold house, and wondered why the big man with a beard he vaguely recognized was his father never showed up again.

His mother had no relatives to call upon for help in the town itself to help take care of him, and after spending too many long nights taking care of whatever disease he caught today in the care of his mother in law,  she decided to raise him up all by herself, bringing him with her everywhere she went, and doting on him more than a little.

His role changed as the years went by, his childhood curiosity having led to him poking and prodding his mother until she taught him how to do that cool glowy kristal magic healing thing, he became her assistant and apprentice, a second pair of steady hands to be called upon if needed.
 
Life went on as it always did for a while, as he dealt with a nasty case of the flu here, setting and mending the bones of a miner who took a nasty fall there, and standing awkwardly outside of the door while his mother midwifed a couple of times, until he realized something. This is all he's been doing, and if the amount of times he's had to stand outside of a door was any indication, he'd be doing *quite a lot of it* in the future...and most likely alone. His mother was getting along in the years, and she had done her best to teach him, but it was clear that outside of a very specific area of study, this was all she could teach him.

After considering all of his options, he packed up his belongings, said some tearful goodbyes to his mother, and did something really selfish for once. Joining the crew of a merchant caravan heading deep into the Kingdom of Morcia at the tender age of 20, he set out to travel the world! Meet interesting people! Study new and interesting conditions and cures! And earn lots of money to fulfill his wildest dreams and grandest ambitions!.

7 years have passed since then, and now he's with the Steelhart mercenaries, having made his way up the social ladder, now he's treating nasty looking axe wounds before it gets infected, mending the broken bones of a mercenary who took a nasty crushing blow, and staring suspiciously at the bandit who keeps asking him if he knows how to make 'preventatives'. Turns out that going out and working in the real world to make your mother proud? It sucks as well.
