Stop animal people laying eggs

I modded a civilization to accept Skink animal people. But I ran into a problem - the Skink People can lay as many as 30 eggs at a time! Obviously this is a disaster for my civilisation as having 30 people showing up all of a sudden is way too much, but I would still like them to have kids.

I tried adding the [CV_REMOVE_TAG:LAYS_EGGS] tag but it hasn't worked. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm pretty sure they need nest boxes to lay eggs, so... don't make those?

Alternatively, make the creature without copying tags or doing creature variations, so you get more control over the tokens.
