: Oh no, I wasn't dormant here. My resting place was near... I believe it was called Coriven? It was quite deep in the mountains, took me a while to reach it, and some more to wander here. I don't know what exactly started the awakening, but it was a pretty deep rumble.

Coriven...

Nothing good has ever come from that city.

...

You'd better change the subject.

"What do you know about Zubor Darek, or the Darek family?"

: "Coriven, Coriven...that's quite a trip. What made you decide to come here? Some old directive from your master, or one of these other people, maybe?"

Ace tried to recall for a split second.

: That name isn't present in my memory. Apologies.

: Things have... changed a lot while I was dormant. Coriven wasn't exactly a place I was familiar with to begin with, and the closest of these homes was here. It took a while but I made it, but this is all that remains.

"What about Zukovich, or a city called Kiza?

"Ah, that is, no pressure if you don't remember. Those are just the names mentioned in the papers."

: Kiza isn't a city, it's the whole nation! Or at least it was. Things seem to be a bit broken up. But Zukovich... yes, I remember. Very important golem inventor and creator.

"Right, it's Kizamo. Sorry, I'm a little frazzled right now."

"Hmm. So Zukovich made golems. That is a lead, at least."

"Hold it for a moment, Ace."
Ismo began to ponder again about those names before snapping his fingers and pointing towards William.
"The paper! Does it not mention Salaam and a laboratory? Don't you think his 'master' could be the writer of this note? And Zukovich's name is also mentioned."

: "Look, the question of the golem's master can wait. He's most likely long dead in any case."

: "If there's nothing for us here, we need to get moving. We probably have a lot of research ahead of us, unless we get lucky."

"There's a reason I am raising such question."
Ismo took a deep breath before starting his explanation.
"IF we are looking at the creation of the writer, it is very possible we may be able to gain other leads from him. I am not sure quite certain the memory of a sentient golem works, but with some luck he could lead us to his laboratories or at least places the writer passed through."

Astera frowned at the spy.

"Yes, I am saying this already. Is why I ask metal man if he knew this Salmaan. Just because I speak funny does not mean I do not say important things."

"I'm sure he didn't mean anything by that, Astera. We're all a little on edge right now from the fighting, running away, meeting this golem... a lot has happened today."

"If you did, I just didn't hear it. I wasn't trying to imply anything or ignored what you were saying."
"And let us be honest, we both like to 'borrow' things from others, so I do consider the information you provide valuable. I have no reason to mock someone because of their accent or the way they talk."

Rafiel jumped as Astera seemed to appear from nowhere.

"Ah! Oh, it's just you, Astera. Could I ask you to not appear out of nowhere like that?"

As talk shifted back over to the note Rafiel listened in silently, pondering what had been said.

"Well, if Salaam and Zukovich are related to Ace's master in some way we should probably get on with looking them up. Information on them could lead to information about Ace's master, who is likely the writer of these papers."
